Can we envision a school that not only serves during the traditional morning and afternoon hours, but also provides a safe and accessible space for residents throughout the day in “Sejong New Smart City”? The integration of new technologies and appropriate low-tech spatial partitioning techniques may enable us to achieve this ambitious goal. These schools will be dispersed throughout the city while also serving as gathering points for the community.

Curtains
Transformable walls, curtains can provide architectural and spatial flexibility by serving as a dynamic boundary between different spaces. They can be used to partition larger spaces into smaller, more intimate areas, or to open up smaller spaces to create a sense of expansiveness. Curtains can also be used to regulate the flow of natural light, or to create a sense of privacy and seclusion within a larger, more open space. In this way, curtains can be seen as a versatile tool for architects and designers, allowing them to adapt and transform spaces to meet the changing needs of their users.
By dispersing these schools throughout the city, we can create accessible and safe spaces for residents to come together and interact with one another. These schools can serve as gathering points for the community, hosting events, workshops, and other activities that bring people together. They can also provide opportunities for lifelong learning, job training, and skills development, contributing to the city's overall economic and social well-being.
